National Cabinet will meet today to discuss the matters of lockdown and reopening the country. Topics will include support payments, which the prime minister has announced will be increased, as well as the vaccine rollout. There will also be discussions surrounding the Doherty Institute modelling and the roadmap to reopening. The modelling was commissioned in early July and outlines the steps which need to be taken to get the economy back to normal and reopen the country’s borders.
