Smoke filled the sky in British Columbia’s Thompson-Nicola regional district on Saturday, July 31, as the nearby Lytton Creek fire continued to burn at 48,282 hectares (about 186 square miles). Firefighters have been battling the out of control blaze since June 30, according to the British Columbia Wildfire Service.
