Firefighters drained water from the heavily flooded Weihui city in China’s Henan province on Wednesday, July 28, footage shows. The death toll from days of extreme flooding in Henan reached 73 as of Wednesday, according to local news reports. More than 1.47 million people have been relocated since July 16, local media reported. The eastern coast of China, meanwhile, was still feeling the effects of Typhoon In-Fa, which weakened into a tropical depression early Wednesday morning as it was expected to travel north into Anhui and Shandong provinces, according to Xinxiang Meteorology.
