At least 20 people are missing in Japan after a powerful mudslide swept away rows of homes in a town near Tokyo. The Japanese military have been drafted in to help with the rescue effort and emergency services are on standby with more bad weather expected to come. Almost 100 have been evacuated from the town of Atami which is west of Tokyo and Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga is lending further resources to limit the loss of life. It is believed record rainfall loosened dirt over the past week with some areas seeing 12 inches in two days.
