California’s Dixie Fire had grown to 85,479 acres (about 134 square miles) as of July 21, with officials saying it was 15 percent contained. Officials warned that the fire would “continue to move northeast with the potential for 2 to 3 miles of new growth,” as evacuation orders remained in place. Over 400 square miles of Butte and Plumas counties were under evacuation orders, according to local reports. Among those evacuated was Quincy, California, resident Sorrell Bobrink, who captured this video of smoke billowing from the fire on July 20. Credit: Sorrell Bobrink via Storyful
