Victorian Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson says gender quotas are "not a fix-all" for the problems faced in the workplace for women as the Liberal Party considers adopting quotas in parliament. "I came into the parliament after running against five men in pre-selection and winning that pre-selection," she said told Sky News host Chris Kenny. "We've also had some great leaps forward in the last federal election when we had almost equal numbers of men and women coming into the parliament. "I certainly want to see more Liberal women but I think the big problem for us is we've only got 15 per cent of women in safe seats."
