NSW set to extend lockdown for four weeks

New South Wales residents are waking up to the news Greater Sydney's lockdown will be extended for another four weeks until at least August 27. However, construction work will be able to resume from Saturday but not in the local government areas of concern in south-west Sydney or at homes where the homeowners are still living. Rapid COVID testing will be conducted everyday on workers on construction sites. Year 12 students will be required to undergo daily testing so they can return to the classroom to get underway with their HSC exams. It has also been revealed those who live on their own will be able to establish a singles bubble and have a friend over to their home.
