State and territory governments need to ‘cooperate’ on pathway out of pandemic

State and territory governments must "cooperate" to ensure National Cabinet’s four-stage plan out of the pandemic is a success, says Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Acting CEO Jenny Lambert. “I’ve joined the 8 million or so of us that have turned up to be vaccinated and we all need to do that,” she told Sky News. “That is definitely the pathway out, but it’s also about governments cooperating and working towards this plan. “We’ve had plans before, we had the National Framework in November last year, we had a national agreed definition of a hotspot, but unfortunately not all the state and territory governments stuck to the plan. “So hopefully this time there’s a goodwill. We haven’t seen a lot of it this week but hopefully on Friday we’ve generated more good will and we can actually see the plan rolling out.”
