A strong thunderstorm brought hail to northern parts of Salt Lake City on May 23. The National Weather Service warned of half-inch hail and winds of up to 40 miles per hour in the area. This video posted to Instagram by relissacharae shows the hail pelting a West Point street and covering the road in small ice. In a post, relissacharae wrote that she had just returned from a trip to the grocery store and was thankful she was indoors when the storm hit. Credit: relissacharae via Storyful
