Doe Cools Off in Oregon Shade During Record-Breaking Heat

A heat wave in the Pacific Northwest saw new high-temperature records set in Washington, Oregon, and California, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. A resident of Sisters, Oregon – northwest of Bend – shared a video of a deer curled up in the shade beneath her bedroom window on Tuesday, June 29. The temperature in Sisters reached at least 108 degrees Fahrenheit that day, according to reports. Credit: @Madam_Voter via Storyful
