Hopes are high for the easing of snap lockdowns across Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory as local case numbers remain low. Queensland recorded just two cases on Thursday linked to a close contact. One case was recorded in the NT, a miner linked to the mine site. WA had zero cases on the third day of Perth’s lockdown.
