Lockdown for three regional NSW councils

The local government areas of Orange, Blayney and Cabonne Shire have been plunged into a seven-day snap lockdown after an infected delivery driver from Sydney delivered pet supplies to the Central West. The delivery driver passed on the virus to a local in Blayney who then visited a private residence in Cootamundra in the Riverina region. Crisis cabinet met last night and made the decision which will see the three regional local government areas locked down until 12:01am on Wednesday July 28. Exercise has been restricted to groups of two outside the home but schools will stay open and students have been encouraged to attend.
