NSW authorities watch cases closely as more exposure sites recorded

Greater Sydney’s lockdown is set to end next Friday with the New South Wales government watching case numbers closely. This comes as there are concerns from authorities residents are using shopping as an excuse to go out, with Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant urging shoppers to be “vigilant”. More exposure sites have been recorded overnight and Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the “next few days are critical" in whether the lockdown will end on time.
