Ongoing wildfires in British Columbia cast a haze over Pinantan Lake on Saturday, July 31, as multiple blazes burned nearby. The Embleton Mountain fire burning north of Pinantan Lake was estimated at 991 hectares (about 3.8 square miles) and was classified as “being held” as of Sunday, according to the British Columbia Wildfire Service.
