There are fears Queenslanders could face an extended lockdown after the state recorded nine community COVID cases on Sunday. The case numbers today will be critical amid a growing sense the lockdown will not end on Tuesday as scheduled. Central Queensland is also on high alert after an infected Brisbane woman travelled to Rockhampton to work on the Rookwood Weir project. Today the state government will unveil a small business support package of one-off $5,000 payments for businesses with a turnover of more than $75,000 but payroll of less than $10 million.
