Despite all the talk about the "brilliance of the NSW contact tracers, it appears they have been caught short here," says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. "People in Parliament House on Tuesday were only contacted on Friday telling them they were close contacts and had to isolate," Mr Clennell said. "In terms of the broader outbreak, three NSW ministers have told me last week they believed that Gladys Berejiklian did not lock down earlier because she wanted to preserve her reputation as the premier who keeps business open."
