An engineer reportedly warned the apartment block that collapsed in Miami had major structural damage three years before the disaster. At least nine people have been killed and more then 150 people remain missing after the 12 storey building collapsed in Florida on Thursday. Managers were reportedly told cracked columns and crumbling concrete needed to be fixed in 2018 but repair work was only now planned to start now. Rescue crews are searching through an unstable pile of debris and fire underneath the rubble hoping to find any survivors.
