Emergency Crews Survey Damage Caused by Deadly Tornado in Southern Czech Republic

Emergency crews across the Czech Republic reported to South Moravia on Friday, June 25, a day after a tornado that killed at least five people, injured hundreds of people, and destroyed at least six hundred homes hit the region. According to police, the tornado caused at least five deaths. Hundreds of victims were hospitalized in Breclav and Hodonin, local media reported. Footage released by the Czech police shows widespread destruction. Nighttime videos posted early in the morning on Friday show downed trees. Daytime and aerial footage show damaged vehicles and destroyed village homes.
