The new UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid has started work and faces a critical fortnight in the road to lifting lockdown. This follows the resignation of former health secretary Matt Hancock after images leaked of him kissing and embracing his aide - in breach of his own social distancing rules. Mr Javid said his first priority is to get the country out of the pandemic but he has joined a government facing critical challenges. The first challenge will be keeping the public onside after the Hancock affair raised the damaging suggestion that it's one rule for officials and another for everyone else.
