‘You lose your position if you teach political indoctrination in the classroom’: Latham

NSW One Nation leader Mark Latham says there has been "plenty of reviews" made by the state government into school staff engaging in "political indoctrination" in the classroom but still no one has been "sacked". "Plenty of reviews and counseling and cautions for teachers but nobody sacked," Mr Latham said. "This is the important thing, you need to send a message that teachers who engage in political content and political indoctrination in the classroom, it's completely unacceptable, it's outside the guidelines, the standards and policies of the NSW government. "So you lose your position. "So too anyone who's pushing gender fluidity, Safe Schools program – this sort of material which for very young students is a form of child abuse – they should be shown the door as well. "There's an unlimited list in our schools of teachers who have done the wrong thing but nobody loses their job."
