While the Opening Ceremony isn't until Friday, Australia's Olympic campaign begins today. The nation's women's football and softball teams will both take to the field. Australia will play their first softball match against Japan on Wednesday in what will be the first time the sport has appeared at an Olympics since 2008. The Matildas - Australia's women's football team - will face New Zealand on Wednesday night.
