Tropical Storm Henri has hit the coast of Long Island on one of the last weekends of summer, clearing out most of the beaches. Holidaymakers wishing to take advantage of the last of the warm weather were forced to go home as the storm raged. US officials are worried Tropical Storm Henri will affect the Bronx and Queens in New York state and could lead to flooding and power outages. There are estimates up to 300,000 people in Massachusetts could be left without power, prompting Governor Charlie Baker to call for the National Guard.
