Apple ‘Focus’ will allow iPhone users to separate home and work notifications

Tech Expert Trevor Long says one of the “big things” which was announced at Apple’s 2021 Worldwide Developers Conference was ‘Focus’ mode which will allow iPhone users to filter notifications between work and home. “So you might have do not disturb now on your phone but you’ll be able to say I’m in work mode or home mode,” he said. “When you’re in work mode those messages from your family and those group chats, they won’t come up. “When you’re in home mode, those emails from work won’t come up as notifications. They’ll still be there if you need them or want to get to them but you won’t be distracted by them. “You’ll get this ability to say I’m in work mode, I want to focus right now, and that’s the kind of notifications you’ll get”.
