Another person has been infected with COVID-19 in a Perth quarantine hotel after genomic sequencing confirmed the cases at the Pan Pacific Hotel are linked. One man flew from Colombia via the United States and two days after his arrival a man in the adjacent room tested positive on day 13 of his quarantine period after previously returning two negative tests. WA Health is monitoring the nearest guests to the positive cases but some have already been released from quarantine and authorities are yet to identify how the virus was transmitted.
