Iranian officials said a massive fire at a refinery in the Tehran area had been put out on June 3, one day after it broke out. In a statement to the ISNA news agency, the Ministry of Oil reported that firefighters had managed to extinguish the blaze as of Thursday. Iranian officials denied rumors that the refinery fire was the result of sabotage. Footage shared by the ministry on June 3 shows firefighting efforts at the Tondgooyan refinery south of Tehran. The fire began on the same day that an Iranian warship sank after it burst into flames in the Gulf of Oman. Credit: Iranian Ministry of Oil via Storyful
