Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce claims he has no idea how many numbers he has in the Nationals party room amid speculation a leadership spill could be triggered to oust Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack. It has been suggested Mr Joyce has 10 of the required 11 votes but Mr McCormack has insisted he is not going anywhere. Mr McCormack told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell a leadership challenge would not be a good look for the party in the middle of a pandemic when asked if he believed Mr Joyce had the required votes. “If he does, he does,” Mr McCormack said in a text. “Not a great look in the middle of a pandemic when the Govt is dealing with a number of significant issues to have people thinking we’re concerning ourselves with ourselves”.
