The Queen is set to become the first British sovereign to mark 70 years on the throne in 2022. Britain will enjoy a four day holiday weekend over the Queen’s birthday next year celebrating the monarch’s platinum jubilee. The Queen and other members of the Royal Family will travel across the country carrying out a range of engagements. National events will include a live concert at Buckingham Palace and ceremonial bonfires will be set ablaze in each of the capital cities in the Commonwealth.
